Poland, 04.-05.05.2008
Sunday evening at 7:45pm we crossed the German-Polish border, thanks to EU
without a stop. The main part of the ride through Poland was during the
night, so I was asleep when we passed through Warsaw and only woke up at
5:30am in Chelm. 20 min later we arrived at Jagodin on the Polish-Ukrainian
border where it took 45 min to pass controls even though there was hardly
any traffic. Our bus driver had already collected 15 Euro from every
passenger before the border to arrange a faster border crossing (meaning
our luggage is not checked), that means 5 Euro per country. I have no idea
how long it would have taken to control all the bags in the bus. Bye bye EU!
